It's rare for me to not be surfing much online, but after the Shop Hop, I was just too tired. Gotta admit that I watched TV last night and wasn't online much either.
We did hear our regular owl last night, so maybe the odd noises the other night were another owl passing through, or an odd call our owl was making for some unknown reason.
